It is so exciting for me to announce that Win Register, a veteran agent with nearly two decades of experience, has decided to join my team. I first met Win when we were working on a deal that didn’t close. It was an extremely difficult, complex transaction that required us to maintain our perspective and keep our wits about us.
Win’s ability to navigate that situation with tact and professionalism left an impression on me and, maybe I shouldn’t mention this publicly, but I immediately noted how her talents as an agent far surpassed many of the other ‘professionals’ with whom I had successfully closed transactions. She was organized, and thorough, and above all, I could see that integrity and client service were the most important components of her business.
As the years went on, Win and I ended up working together on many successful transactions, although the basis of our professional relationship was already established by the first one that didn’t happen. Throughout it all, I’ve noticed she understands success in real estate depends on collaboration rather than confrontation. Win and I have often conferred with each other for professional insight into local property values, market conditions, and the national economy.
Win has always been easy to work with and eager to help. We have often turned to each other as a resource for specialty inventory when clients wanted something extraordinary. Win has an extensive knowledge of the gated communities in the Waccamaw Neck and, combined with her sense of discretion and experience navigating pressure-filled situations, this has facilitated a high degree of success working with affluent clientele, whether helping with a primary residence, a vacation home or a new asset to their income-producing portfolios. She and her husband live in Willbrook Plantation, where she is the community expert.
Similar to the other recent addition to my team, Hannah Fesperman, Win was a successful college athlete, a swimmer at Virginia Tech. It may be obvious to some, but it is definitely worth pointing out that being a student-athlete on an NCAA team takes determination, discipline, patience, resilience, perseverance, follow-through, and a host of other intangibles that are essential for success in business.
Win has a proven track record that began with earning the Rookie of the Year award at her previous firm. She is licensed in both North and South Carolina and had a very successful career in Charlotte prior to relocating to Pawleys. Having encountered nearly every situation imaginable in real estate, Win has a thorough knowledge of the transaction process and a strong sense of accountability to her clients. All of these traits make her a valuable asset to the Luxury Division of my team.
